EACH

Early Childhood and Sustainable Citizenship Routes in the Digital Era

The EACH project promotes innovation within early childhood education services by strengthening transversal and digital competences among educators, children, and learning communities. Through participatory approaches and the mindful use of digital technologies, the project encourages collaborative knowledge-building and reflection on sustainability and climate change.
Activities include training for educators and researchers, experimentation with innovative teaching methodologies, pilot sessions with children, and evaluation of educational outcomes.
The EACH online platform will serve as a shared space for exchange, reflection, and continuous learning.

Objectives

EACH goal aims to foster transversal key competences—such as critical thinking, social and meta-cognitive skills—and to strengthen digital competences within Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services. This will be achieved by implementing participatory educational actions supported by digital technologies, designed to promote collaborative knowledge-building among children, educators, and families.
All educational actions will be framed within a shared awareness of the global challenges posed by climate change, ensuring that sustainability becomes a guiding principle across all activities.

Target groups

  • Professionals in the ECEC sector: educators and teachers working with children aged 3-6
  • Researchers and academics active in the field of ECEC, in particular on the topic of key transversal skills
  • 3–6-year-olds involved in the experimentation and their families.
